Applicants are wanted for a spring/summer writing internship working with an award-winning presidential speechwriter and filmmaker. The position will revolve around assisting this head writer in the composition the Congressional Commission on an American Museum of Women’s History’s final report. This report will be submitted to Congress on or before November 18th of this year.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or be majoring in either Journalism or English. In addition to being highly self-motivated and detail-oriented, candidates should have impeccable grammar and prior writing experience.
The person who fills this role will work up to 10 hours a week; responsibilities can be carried out remotely or out of the head writer’s Washington, D.C. office.
This internship is unpaid, but the contributions of the person who holds this important position will be acknowledged in the final Commission report submitted to Congress.
