On Monday, August 8th, the Chair of the Congressional Commission on the American Museum of Women’s History, Jane Abraham, and the Executive Director, Wendy Pangburn, attended the farewell event for outgoing U.S. Treasurer, Rosie Rios. Rios has served as Treasurer since 2009, when President Obama appointed her. As Treasurer, she oversaw the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, the U.S. Mint, and was a seminal figure in successfully advocating for putting a woman on U.S. currency. She has also been a great supporter of the Commission. We will miss you Rosie!
