The 2020 Centennial Initiative Hosts a “Slogo” Contest

The 2020 Centennial Initiative was recently established by a coalition of both women’s organizations and individuals to plan and encourage nationwide celebrations and events for the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment in 2020. They want the coming anniversary to be marked by celebrations that include all Americans, encompassing activities both large and small, organized by individuals, schools, community organizations, government entities, etc.

womens-vote-2020-logo1In preparation for the anniversary they are hosting a ‘slogo’ contest in an effort to identify both a logo and a slogan for the organization.

We need a brand welcoming Americans of all ages, classes, races, and creeds into the 2020 celebration. The Initiative will use the logo and slogan ourselves and offer it to groups celebrating 2020. Any American group or organization seeking to coordinate with the national 2020 Centennial Initiative effort will have access to the winning slogo for use on websites, social media platforms, hard copy media like flyers or promotional items like T-shirts or postcards.
