Susan Medick is an effective nonprofit executive with successful experience in association management with a strong background in general operations, finance, and human resources. Significant experience in nonprofit accounting and budgeting.
Medick most recently served as Chief Financial & Operations Officer for the Auto Care Association for over twenty years. The Auto Care Association represents the automotive aftermarket industry, which is a $300 plus billion industry. Prior to joining the Auto Care Association, she worked for the National Recycling Coalition as the Director of Finance & Administration. Medick started her career working for Grant Thornton, a national public accounting firm, where she specialized in working with nonprofit organizations.
Currently Medick serves on the Board of Directors for the Girls On The Run – Montgomery County Council as well as a member of the finance committee. She is also the outgoing Chairman of the Board for FAR, an association that represents nonprofit financial and operation executives.
In 2015 Medick was recognized by Bisnow Association as one of the “Trending Top 40 Association CFOs” in November 2015.
