The National Women’s History Museum is hosting “The Women Making History Awards” on Monday, March 14th at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington D.C. The event will honor women who are making modern history and breaking down barriers in their respective fields. The event will be co-chaired by Senator Lisa Murkowski and Representative Linda Sanchez.
Honorees:
- Aesha Ash – Former professional ballerina, Founder of The Swan Dreams Project
- The Honorable Ann Veneman – Secretary of Agriculture (2001-2005)
- Christine Walevska – World renowned cellist and master musician.
